The Art of Marriage Coming Soon!

When? 7:00pm-9:00pm Friday, November 6th and 9:00am-4:00pm Saturday, November 7th

Where? St. John's Lutheran Church in Le Mars, Iowa

Cost - $50 per couple (Covers two The Art of Marriage workbooks and Saturday lunch)

Hosted by Pastor Broers and his wife Kristy. The Art of Marriage is a video event to help couples find out how to best love one another. The videos are funny, informative, practical and varied in how they present the material. Over the six sessions, they talk about God’s plans for marriage, how to survive conflict, how to communicate better with your spouse, Gender roles, sex and how to make your marriage last a lifetime. There is no group discussion time. We watch the videos together and you work on various projects one-on-one with your spouse. 

 The Art of Marriage is open to couples at every stage of their relationship—whether you're dating, engaged, newly married, or have been married for decades. If you are not married yet, this event will open your eyes to how to be a better spouse when the time comes. It doesn’t matter if this is your first marriage or if you were previously married before; the creators of this event wrote it with all people in mind. Whatever situation you are in, God will bless this time you give to learn more about yourself and how a good marriage will not only bless your family but will affect the world in a positive way. 

How to Register?

1. Call our church office (712) 546-8855. Leave your name and
contact information, click here to register, or scan the QR code.

2. Send your registration fee along with your name and
information to our church address:  St. John’s Lutheran Church, 201 1st
Ave NW, Le Mars, IA 51031

Registration Deadline: Monday, October 26th.

registration fee by this date to ensure plenty of time to order workbooks)

Empowering Young Adult Leaders

St. John's is encouraging young adults to become camp counselors! If you are a member of St. John's, and you work for the summer at either Ingham-Okoboji Lutheran Bible Camp or Riverside Bible Camp, you can apply for a $1,000 stipend from St. John's! This is a wonderful opportunity to grow in your faith, meet other young adults committed to their faith and serve families in the name of Jesus Christ.
