The lazy days of Summer are upon us! Summer worship will bring many opportunities to share musical talents, so please consider this as you work through your Summer schedule. If you would like to share special music at any of the services, please contact Cathy Seaton. I am also looking for cantors during the Sunday morning services. During the summer months we will be canting the Psalms, so this will require additional individuals. Please contact me if you would be interested.
St. John's will have a wonderful opportunity to interact with the group Esprit de Corps - St. John's - July 6th - 7:00pm
Esprit de Corps is a ministry of Lincoln Berean Church, Lincoln, Nebraska. They are a touring choir made up of between 65 - 70 teenagers from churches and schools all over the area and have been in existence since 1998. Their mission is to give teens an opportunity to use their God given talents to tell others the Good News of Christ through music and drama.
St. John's will be hosting Esprit de Corps on Tuesday evening, July 6th. The group will present a concert, open to the public, at 7:00 pm in the Sanctuary. Mike Stelzer, a relative of the Stelzer family, is actively involved in the group. A freewill offering will be taken. Plan to attend this amazing presentation!
Again, a huge "Thank You" to all the individuals and groups that have shared/will share their music with us - it is appreciated and enjoyed! Have a safe and relaxing Summer!

People of Praise would like to invite anyone of any age that would like to participate in this group to drop by a practice. We meet for practice on Wednesday evenings at 6:00 pm and we sing the 2nd, 4th and every 5th Sunday at 10:45 am services. If you have any questions contact Allyn Anderson.
