STUDY/COMMUNION
We will continue our look at the Apostles of our Lord by dealing with St. John. He, too, was a fisherman, like Peter and Andrew. And he also had a brother who was one of the twelve. Join us on May 26th at 3:00 PM for our time of worship, Holy Communion and Bible Study. We meet at Plymouth Manor.
GOOD SAMARITAN VILLAGE
BIBLE STUDY/COMMUNION
There were other fishermen/apostles, other than Peter and Andrew that is. This month we will look at one of them, namely John. Join us for a time of worship, Holy Communion and Bible study as we look at this disciple. We will gather at Good Samaritan Home at 10:45 am on May 19th.
We will be concluding our work on the Mighty Acts of God, looking at the Book of Revelation and what it meant to the church and what it means to us today. We will look at how this book helped to shape the church's understanding of the second coming of Christ. We will be meeting only once this month on May 23rd at 10:00 in the Youth Room for our discussion. Hope to see you there.
We continue our walk through the book, Lutheranism 101. We are looking at the basic tenants of our denominations, what makes us unique and what we have in common. We look at the teachings and tenants of Lutheranism as well as look through our Lutheran Confessions. Join us every Tuesday morning in the Library at 7:30 AM.
