Property Meeting St. John's Lutheran Church November 28, 2011
Present: Brad Ufken, Vicki Ufken, Mollie Cook, Todd Lang, Greg McInnis Absent: Gerri Ihrke, Arlene Wiener, Glenda Wiener Guest: Tony Chihak
We will decorate the church on December 10th.
Recommend to Council: Greg McInnis talked about insurance and suggested a minor change to the insurance - approved by Property Team.
Recommend to Council: Thrasher Basement to come in and fix the basement water issue - approved by Property Team.
Recommend to Council: Waterlink Inc - suggested putting in a needle valve skimmer, do an acid clean once the boiler is down for spring - a preventative measure for future repairs on the boiler - approved by Property Team.
We will not meet in December.

Budget has been reviewed.
Brad needs to talk to Jeff Roder to see if he is going to do our snow removal for the church this year.
Boiler has been serviced and is ok'd.
Air conditioning preventative maintenance has been done for the winter.
Sprinkler system has been blown out for the winter.
Downstairs hallway & Sunday School room carpet needs to be replaced. Possibly look at putting in carpet squares.

Painted the downstairs Sunday school rooms.
Planted 3 new bushes.
Brad rebuilt the pumps for the boiler.
Hank Campbell has not shown up - Becky Klohs did talk to him and he said he was coming. We were told we had to stay with Hank Campbell. Need to address looking at possibly getting another electrician in, to finish the electrical to bring it up to code.
Brad is still looking at pouring a cement pad this fall for the new shed.
Next Spring - look at a solution to the water that is coming into the youth room - will need a new floor also for the youth room once the water issue is fixed. Looking at getting Thrasher Basement to come in and give us an estimate.
Will paint the lines on the parking lot next Spring.

Property Meeting St John's Lutheran Church March 28, 2011 - 7:00 p.m.

Forward Planning Present: Kathy Stelzer, Dale Hurt, Tony Chihak
Forward planning committee came to talk to us about what they are looking at from each group to help bring in new members and to utilize what materials the church has at its disposal to be used at its fullest potential.
Talked about getting more instructions on how to utilize the sound system and Brad said the people are coming in and he would talk to them about having them do another instructional meeting.
It was suggested that Brad ask the sound people what kind of monitor they would recommend for the flat screen TV that was talked about being mounted in the lobby to showcase what is happening in the church.
Brad received the quote for the Automated Door and will proceed with having them come and install. We did talk to Campbell about the electrical for this door.
Campbell did stop in at the church and will finish up with his electrical from the renovation project.
Brad talked to Campbell about other things that needed to be brought up to code for insurance purposes and Campbell will do that also.
A new vacuum cleaner was approved to be purchased from Sears.
Brad will begin to tear out old bushes and replace with new ones.
Brad will talk to Curt Buss about pouring a cement pad for the new Utility Shed.
Greg McGinnis will talk to his maintenance person at the bank to see if we can coordinate the striping of their parking lot with the churches to see if we could possibly get a deal on the cost.
Greg McGinnis suggested that we start the process of looking into what it would cost to replace windows in the church.
