Property Team St. John's Lutheran Church May 24, 2010 - 7:00 P.M.
Present: Brad & Vicki Ufken, Mollie Cook, Gerry Ihrke, Glenda Wiener, LaVonne Wiener Absent: Todd Lang
Boiler has been taken down & cleaned out. Air Conditioning has been checked and is okay.
Scott was supposed to call Campbell. We will check with him to see if he was able to get a hold of him.
Brad will call JR Roofing again. They did stop before.
We discussed the issue of the shed. Todd & Brad have not had time to look at plans for a wood shed. Need to check into concrete cost for the floor of the shed, was not taken into consideration when we asked for the $1500 for the shed from the council. Was suggested if the cost was more than what was approved by the council that we maybe look into doing this in stages. Possibility would be to pour the cement slab first and then put up the shed next year. Mollie checked into the permit issue. Told us how far we needed to be from the building & lot line. We will need to know the value of the shed for the permit.
Property Team will not meet during the summer.
Next meeting will be in August.

Since Brad wasn't there he had left a few notes:
Need to check with Brad about date for spring flower planting.
Discussed the new shed. Gerry said Council said OK to build it. Mollie will check with Jason Vacura at City Hall about permits, setbacks and size requirements. Todd will check into getting some blueprints for building.
Had a discussion about lighting during recording of events and then discussed extra areas of usage of video equipment and big screen in church.
Property Team St. John's Lutheran Church March 22, 2010 - 7:00 P.M.

Glenda Wiener mentioned painting the lines in the parking lot. Brad will look into somebody to paint the lines.
Brad will talk to Frank Summerside about the Spring Flower Planting.
JR Roofing came and took care of the broken skylight in the office hallway. Did a minor repair and Brad is going to call JR Roofing to see if they could leave the skylight as is until further notice.
The insurance company wants a final price on the cost. Todd & Brad recommended not putting it back in - eliminate the skylight. Rough estimate to replace - $400 - $500.
JR Roofing will need to come back and replace roofing tile and Brad will check into how much it would cost to have baffles put on the roof to stop the sliding snow.
Brad is working on purchasing a lawn mower - will know by the end of the week.
Hank Campbell stopped and walked through the church and said he would be back later and has not shown back up again. Scott will call him again.
Scott said that the flooring will have the holes filled in a couple of weeks.
Discussed the new 12 x 14 shed, what permits we will need to obtain and where to go to find blueprints and materials we will need to build the shed. Ask Curt Buss to pour the cement. Have shed wired for electricity.
