MAY Council Challenge:

MAY FLOWERS

May 2nd is ROGATION SUNDAY

Rogation comes from the Latin "rogare" which means to beseech. And so, on this day we will beseech God's blessing for the seed, for the soil, for those who labor in the fields and for all of God's creation.

Everyone attending church on May 2nd will receive a packet of seeds!   (Free Will Offering will be taken to cover the cost)

Plant a Flower and/or Vegetable garden.  Use the produce to save on your food budget and...
1)  Give the pro"seeds" to church.
2)  Sell your produce at the Farmer's Market and donate your pro"seeds" to church or a charity
3)  Give your produce to a neighbor as an act of love.
4)  Flowers could be placed on the Altar or given to a Rest Home.
5)  Raise Herbs for Bethlehem Revisited!!!

Take Photos as your garden grows and post them on the Church Website!
