Our adult Sunday School class meets on Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the church dining room. This fall, we will be reading and discussing a book called Being Well When We're Ill: Wholeness and Hope in Spite of Infirmity by Marva Dawn. The author, a Lutheran theologian who lives in Washington State, has dealt with many health issues in her own life.

 

Our congregation has ordered 20 copies of this book, which you can purchase for $10 each. Additional copies will be ordered as requested.

 

We are going to discuss two or three chapters per week. We will not be meeting on every Sunday morning in the fall (because other events will be held at church during the 9:30 time slot) but we can still read the book together according to the same schedule.
