Above all else we embrace the two greatest commandments: "Jesus answered, 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the greatest and the most important commandment. The second most important commandment is like it: 'Love your neighbor as you love yourself.'" Matthew 22:37-39

KIDS AGAINST HUNGER/FEED JUST ONE EVENT

Thank you to everyone who joined us on February 22nd from 11:00 am - 8:00 pm, as we packaged food for the children of Grace Orphanage in Port au Prince, Haiti. We had many volunteers throughout the day help us reach our goal to package over 32,000 meals, enough to feed the orphans at Grace Orphanage for an entire year. In fact, we were able to package 42,336 meals. Donations to help cover the cost of this event can be mailed to St. John's Lutheran Church, 201 1st Ave NW, Le Mars, IA 51031.
